Is Biden About to Form an Alliance With Kucinich in the Quest for the Impeachment of Cheney?

Dennis Kucinich may no longer feel alone in his quest to have the Vice President Dick Cheney --- and his boss, President Bush --- impeached. Kucinich introduced a privileged resolution on the floor of the House on November 6, only to see the Democratic House leadership adroitly manoeuver to effectively bury the effort in the House Judiciary Committee.
But it now appears that one of Kucinich's rivals for the Democratic presidential nomination Delaware Senator Joe Biden may throw his support behind Kucinich's impeachment campaign. As pointed out by John Nichols , during the last Democratic debate in Las Vegas, Biden was forthright about what should be done should Bush declare war on Iran without Congressional authorization.
"If he takes the country to war in (Iran) without a vote of Congress, which will not exist, then he should be impeached."
Kucinich had at the same debate insisted that impeachment is not an issue for the future--- it should be an immediate concern.
"It's called 'impeachment.' You don't wait. You do it now. Impeach them now"
Kucinich is expected to resume the media aspect of his campaign for impeachment on Wednesday. The Ohio congressman is scheduled to hold a press conference to this effect at Manchester, NH with NH State Rep. Betty Hall. Kucinich has not revealed what he intends to say, but he may very likely open another front in the impeachment campaign by announcing an initiative to go after President Bush himself.
