Obama, McCain set to duel over economy ... REPORT: "The presidential candidates will duel over the economy this week, with Republican Sen. John McCain touting proposals he says will stimulate job growth and Democratic Sen. Barack Obama discussing economic security for families. McCain, an Arizona senator who has wrapped up his party's nomination, will embark on a tour of Colorado, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin -- all toss-up states in the November election to win the White House. Is Biden About to Form an Alliance With Kucinich in the Quest for the Impeachment of Cheney?

11.20.07 -- 12:51 PM

By Wes Prescott

Dennis Kucinich may no longer feel alone in his quest to have the Vice President Dick Cheney --- and his boss, President Bush --- impeached. Kucinich introduced a privileged resolution on the floor of the House on November 6, only to see the Democratic House leadership adroitly manoeuver to effectively bury the effort in the House Judiciary Committee.

But it now appears that one of Kucinich's rivals for the Democratic presidential nomination Delaware Senator Joe Biden may throw his support behind Kucinich's impeachment campaign. As pointed out by John Nichols , during the last Democratic debate in Las Vegas, Biden was forthright about what should be done should Bush declare war on Iran without Congressional authorization.

"If he takes the country to war in (Iran) without a vote of Congress, which will not exist, then he should be impeached."

Kucinich had at the same debate insisted that impeachment is not an issue for the future--- it should be an immediate concern.

"It's called 'impeachment.' You don't wait. You do it now. Impeach them now"

Kucinich is expected to resume the media aspect of his campaign for impeachment on Wednesday. The Ohio congressman is scheduled to hold a press conference to this effect at Manchester, NH with NH State Rep. Betty Hall. Kucinich has not revealed what he intends to say, but he may very likely open another front in the impeachment campaign by announcing an initiative to go after President Bush himself.

I sincerely hope he does continue his efforts to impeach both Bush and Cheney. However, it will be for naught. So many of his colleagues and the media have all, I think, through the NSA spying on Americans, been co-opted to the point of ineffectiveness.

Its becoming increasingly clear that that uninvestigated scandal is at the root of all Kucinichs troubles. Cheney (nor Bush) will allow Kucinich to gain any momentum toward their removal, because they'll simply remind all involved of the 'goods' they have on them.

I think this is most apparent with Pelosi, Feinstein, Repub Bushies, and various sorts in the TV and print media. Their complete indifference and apathy toward the long list of crimes perpetrated by this 'administration' HAS to have some coercive element to it for it to make any sense at all!

IF Biden does stand with him---then I say:

ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!!

All the Democrats seem to be in favor of Dennis Kucinich, yet the polls show him near the bottom in the presidential race.

Something is wrong. Either there is a great disconnect with the voting population or the polls have gone the way of the MSM. Neither has any more credibility.

We expect the current crimminals to risk being thrown out- through a fair election? They stole the last 2 elections. Either the 2008 presidential election will be suspended or the sccessor has already been chosen. There may be "show elections" akin the the show trials in USSR.
