OF INTEREST:
Clinton has widened an already strong lead over her Democratic rivals in Michigan, but the picture on the Republican side remains unclear. In August, a similar poll showed Clinton had 40 percent of the vote.
On the Republican side, Huckabee received 9 percent, compared with 3 percent in August. ''Huckabee is a big player in determining who wins the Michigan primary,'' said pollster Ed Sarpolus with Lansing-based EPIC-MRA.
^------
The telephone polls were done by EPIC-MRA for The Detroit News and television stations WXYZ, WILX, WOOD and WJRT. They were conducted Nov. 7 through Tuesday. They each had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 5 percentage points for both the 400 Democratic and Republican presidential primary voters surveyed.
